You've always been able to archive individual references in your PERRLA Reference Library. You can also archive multiple references – or your entire Reference Library – at once.
Archiving multiple references
- Log into PERRLA Online.
- Go to References in the left-side menu.
- Click Show Options at the top of the References page.
-
For each reference you want to archive, hover over it and select the checkbox on the left.
To archive all your references, click Select All at the top of the page. - Click Archive Selected References at the top of the page.
- Confirm you want to archive the references.
The archived references will no longer appear in your Reference Library.
Note: Any papers that used archived references will remain unchanged. The archived references and their citations will remain in the paper, but you will not be able to edit or reuse those references going forward.
Restoring archived references
If you archive a reference you still need, you can restore it at any time.
- Log into PERRLA Online.
- Go to References in the left-side menu.
- Click Show Options at the top of the References page.
- Select Show Archived References.
-
For each reference you want to restore, hover over it and select the checkbox on the left.
To restore all archived references, click Select All at the top of the page. - Click Restore Selected References.
Those references will be moved back to your active Reference Library and will be available to use in your papers again.
