There are few things in school more devastating than losing your work. As students ourselves, we've felt that pain – so we work hard to keep it from happening to you.
To add an extra layer of security, PERRLA Online saves a backup copy of your paper to your computer while you're writing. That way, if you lose internet connection, forget to press save, or your cat lays on your keyboard closing the browser – we'll have a local backup ready to load the next time you open the paper on that computer.
In an ideal world, this is a feature you'll never need or even see. But if you do see a message that we've found unsaved content on your computer, you can rest assured that your work is backed up and ready to restore.
