Need to show your professor that you actually wrote your paper? PERRLA has you covered. Every paper you work on saves a running version history, and you can download that history as a PDF to submit as proof of your effort.
Why This Matters
Some instructors now ask for a version history alongside your PERRLA assignments. It's a simple way to demonstrate that your paper was written over time by you – not generated all at once by AI. Downloading and submitting your version history is an easy way to back up your work and show the effort you put in.
What PERRLA Saves
PERRLA automatically keeps a 30-day history of all your paper versions in both PERRLA Online and Microsoft Word. No matter which platform you write in, you can access and download that version history as a PDF table from PERRLA Online.
How to Download Your Version History
-
Log in to PERRLA Online.
Go to www.perrla.com and click Log In in the top-right corner. -
Open your paper.
You can find your paper two ways:- Check your Home dashboard, which shows the five most recent papers you've worked on.
- Go to the Papers module in the left-side menu.
This works for both PERRLA Online papers and Word papers. Click anywhere on the paper's row to open it.
-
Go to the Overview tab.
Once your paper opens, select the Overview tab in the top-left of the screen. -
Find the Recent Paper Saves table.
On the Overview tab, the right half of the screen shows your Recent Paper Saves table. This is your version history. -
Click Download PDF or Print paper versions.
At the top-right of the table, you can download your version history as a PDF or print it. For Word papers, you only have the Print paper versions option.
Your paper's version history is now ready to hand in. Whenever a professor asks for proof of your work on a PERRLA assignment, you'll have it in just a few clicks.
