When your PERRLA subscription ends, you can still sign in and download your existing references, papers, and files, but you won't be able to view or edit them in PERRLA until you renew.
Downloading Your References, Papers, and Files
If you sign in to PERRLA with an expired subscription, you're taken to a screen where you can download your work.
- Your References. Click Download Reference Library (.bib) to download your entire reference library as a .bib file, including your research notes.
- Your Papers. Each paper is listed with its title and the date it was last modified. Click Download next to a paper to download it as a .docx file.
- Your Files. Click Download Your Files (.zip) to download your files as a .zip file. Files attached to a reference are in a folder named for that reference.
What You Can't Do
You can download everything, but you can't view or edit your papers, references, or files inside PERRLA until you renew.
PERRLA keeps your files for at least 90 days after your subscription ends. Renewing at any point during that window restores full access to everything.
Renewing Your Subscription
See Renew Your PERRLA Subscription for the steps to renew and restore full access.
