PERRLA Online is our web-based application that lets you write papers and manage your schoolwork from any browser.
Which should I use?
If you prefer to write in Microsoft Word, use PERRLA for Word. Add it from the Word Add-in Store in the Home tab and you'll have all the tools you need to write perfectly formatted papers inside Word.
If you want to work from multiple computers, PERRLA Online is a great choice. Since it's web-based, you can access it from any browser on any computer.
What's included with each?
Both PERRLA for Word and PERRLA Online include the same core tools for APA, MLA, and Turabian papers. In PERRLA Online, you work in our paper editor and download the finished paper as a Word document. In PERRLA for Word, you work in Microsoft Word from start to finish.
PERRLA Online also offers a number of tools that aren't currently available in PERRLA for Word.
